th comment: Very clean comfortable property, just like being at home, everything was provided. In good location, great local village with amenities. Plenty of local walks, and great scenery, both from cottage and short distances away. Good for dogs, although, the owners dogs scale the walls into your property, so, if your dog isn’t used to other dogs, be aware of this. April 2011.

th Comment Once more we had a fantastic holiday at Townhead Mill. There is nothing better then waking up in the morning to stunning views of the hills and the sound of the sheep we will be back again next year. April 2009.
th Comment Fantastic property, really well thought-out. Would definitely go back. May 2009.
th Comment Townhead Mill is a wonderful property. The accommodation is lovely and the views are fantastic. Our two boys (aged 10yrs and 14yrs) thoroughly enjoyed their stay - having the games facilities and the space to chill was great for them. Because of where the Mill is situated you can easily drive to many places of interest which the whole family will enjoy. Likewise Thornhill town centre is only a short drive away and has a variety of shops and amenities. August 2009 was our second visit to the Mill - the boys each brought a friend this year and all four children had a brilliant time irrespective of the weather conditions. Aug 2009.
th Comment If you want a holiday where you can just ’chill out’ and forget the world for a while, this is the place to be. Set on the side of a hill with extensive views of the valley, there was little to disturb our weary selves but for the lambs entertaining us from the safety of the adjacent field. We had a wonderful time at this cottage and we are sure to visit again soon. April 2008.
th Comment It was really nice, that when we had a power cut, that the owners came straight round to make sure we were all ok and set us up with candles and a camping stove just in case. That to us was thoughtfulness you don’t always find so it was really refreshing to find. April 2008.
th Comment A fantastic location for a relaxing break. Property and views excellent. March 2008.
th Comment Excellent property. Jan 2008.
th Comment The Mill is in a perfect setting with glorious walks, and the perfect spot to explore more of Scotland. The Mill itself is well furnished, and provides plenty of home comforts and more. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and would return. Aug 2007.
