Torthorwald is a small village 3 miles from Dumfries town centre and is therefore an ideal base for touring the Solway coast and south west Scotland in general. The Solway Coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with an impressive range of wildlife and birds.
Dumfries is an excellent walking area and offers many leisure facilities including a golf course, swimming pool, ice-rink, and museum. The town hosts festivals throughout the year and provides excellent shopping and places to eat. It is equidistant between Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stranraer each being an easy drive away.
Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
All on ground floor: Living room with double bed/dining area/kitchen. Shower room with toilet.
Oil CH, elec and bed linen inc. M/wave. Freezer. Lawned garden and furniture. Parking (2 cars). No smoking.
