Cairngorm Funicular Railway, the Highland Wildlife Park and Landmark Forest Adventure Park are all close by. Waltzing Waters offers the world’s most elaborate water, light and music productions. Historic sites, castles, gardens, distilleries, scenic walks, horse riding, cycling, golf, fishing and skiing are available locally. Shop, pub and restaurant 300 yards.

1st comment: This property was an ideal base for visiting the Cairngorms, plenty of walks right on the doorstep and an easy drive into Aviemore. The house itself was lovely, decor and equipment excellent, my only suggestion would be the addition of a seat at the top of the garden as the view from up there is fantastic, great holiday will be back! April 2012.

3rd comment: Excellent location for exploring the highland and for walking both for ourselves and the dogs. Lots of local safe walks without needing the car. Quiet location at end of a pleasant village which has good local amenities. The only very small minus, is traffic noise early on a morning during the week which can be heard. Oct 2011.
