Customer Reviews of Auld School House, Nr Gatehouse of Fleet, sleeps 6
1st comment: Ideally located close to main A75 road (but far enough away to be very quiet)- makes getting around very easy. Lovely spacious house for relaxing during a wet week! The house would benefit from a proper information pack; there was no easily accessable information on shops, doctors/vets etc. Oct 2011.
2nd comment: Excellent location, right in the heart of Galloway region, loads to do. We have been in this area lots of times but this cottage was ideally located to lots of activities meaning not having to drive for miles for things to do. Cottage next to a beautiful river with beautiful gardens. May 2011.

10th comment: Ideal area for wildlife, walks, and scenic car drives, or just for relaxing. Many places of interest, all local and within a short drive. The tourist information office was very helpful. Pay-phone available within the property. June 2009.
11th Comment Good sized property with adequate facilities. Good location, just a few minutes drive from nearest shops. Large garden and garden furniture, and a lovely stream beside the property, which is fenced off for safety. Off road parking and adequate privacy. Useful feature was the payphone facility, as mobile phone signal is poor. June 2009.
