Private owned beach to east of Dunbar up coast from Tantallon. Half mile beach with tiny harbour, two castles and old house to explore.
The joy of Seacliff Beach is its privacy and all the places to scout out. Walk East along the shore and visit Tantallon, walk west and inland and visit the old ruined mansion of Seacliff House that largely burnt down in 1907. There is the odd and quirky little Seacliff Harbour, the smallest harbour in the UK or St Baldred's Beacon, a large cross that commemorates the 8th century hermit.
Something to suit all the family!
