On the road between Grantown on Spey and Keith in Southern Moray/Speyside border. Home to distillery of same name and also Walker's shortbreads
Known to some (including tourism organisations) as The Jewel of Speyside, Aberlour is a charming village with the distillery of the same name and also Walker's Shortbread factory. Another of the great food and condiment manufacturers in the area like Baxters at Fochabers. This being Speyside there are many distilleries and castles in reach.
Alternatively, watch the anglers on the river or simply stop for tea at the Railway Cafe with its platforms and old railway signs.
