Findochty
Small fishing village on Moray Coast between Buckie and Portknockie. pronounced Finichty
For a while this was a busy fishing port, but the better harbour at Buckie meant that much of the fleet preferred to land their catch there. By the early 20th century, the port was quiet until the arrival of leisure boating.
Today, this is very much a holiday village wih pub and supermarket but not much else!
