Nestled in a highland glen, in secluded riverside grounds, traditional cottage with open fire is ideally placed for walking and mountaineering.. In a superb location in a remote highland glen, the setting for television’s ’A Glen for All Seasons’, this old Church of Scotland Manse stands detached in ¼ acre of fenced secluded gardens within 3-acre riverside grounds, all with wonderful views over the valley and surrounding mountains. Completely refurbished and decorated with style, it is perfect for nature lovers and walkers. There is excellent bird-watching, deer stalking, fly fishing, mountaineering and hill walking locally. Inverness, the hub of the Highlands, is just a 45-minute drive away. Built on the banks of the River Ness, it boasts a red sandstone castle and offers good shopping and other holiday attractions.

1st comment: Couldn’t find a visitors book! The cottage was very comfortable and secluded. Location lovely, lots of good walking in the glen. The description didn’t do it justice. The description did not however say that the dog should be limited to the kitchen as requested in the cottage info!! I would not have booked it if I had known this. Perhaps this needs to be amended? Oct 2011.
