Customer Reviews of Glenmeanich Cottage, Muir of Ord - Sleeps 9
st comment: This was the best hoilday I have had, the views are outstanding, I work in a busy enviroment and truly felt as if i had a hoilday. You can walk for miles and see nobody, the wildlife is wonderful. I have booked for next year. May 2012.
nd comment: We had a fantastic holiday, Glenmeanich cottage exceeded our expectations as the website doesn’t do it justice! The setting of the cottage in Strathconnon was superb as we didn’t have to take the car anywhere, we walked all week in what is a beautiful area. We will definitely return. April 2011.
rd comment: Lovely location, isolated so be prepared to travel 15 miles to get to the main road, along with no mobile signal means we come back year after year! Did not need to move the car for days as we were walking through the glen, arrived in sunshine which then settled back to snow for the next week! Dingwall and Inverness are near try Jimmy Cheungs for Chinese or the Kitchen for lunch, fine dining at the Coul House Hotel in Contin. March 2011.
th comment: Very homely, gas-powered Aga for cooking and heat. Great location for views (red deers out the windows every day). Quite large - good kitchen and good lounge area. Oct 2010.
th comment: Extremely spacious, warm and cosy. Excellent facilities within the cottage too. Beautiful spot, with an abundance of wildlife. Oct 2010.
th comment: This is an ideal property for us because we are very keen photographers and the wildlife is excellent. May 2010.
th comment: The property is large and spacious and in a beautiful location. April 2010.
th comment: Peace and tranquility guranteed, but be aware of how far the nearest shops are to the property. Take the minimum essentials with you to have a great first night. July 2007.
th comment: Superb top class accommodation, everything you need is there. Couldn’t fault anything! July 2006.
th comment: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we found the accommodation absoutley perfect, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The fire was set and there was a bowl of fresh fruit which our boys enjoyed. It is not possible to do the surroundings justice in a website, there was not another house or streetlight visible from anywhere in the garden, and best of all there was no mobile phone signal! sheer bliss! March 2007.
