Cobble Stones is a charming detached cottage set in an idyllic location, facing Loch Achilty, three miles from Strathpeffer in the Scottish Highlands.
With three bedrooms, including one ground floor double, one first floor twin and one first floor double with en-suite shower room, this cottage will sleep six people. There's also a ground floor bathroom, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with French doors opening onto a private patio garden with furniture and BBQ. Outside this cottage is ample off road parking, plus guests are able to arrange fly fishing on the loch. With an abundance of wildlife to discover along the many neighbouring walking and biking trails, the essence of the beautiful Scottish Highlands is never too far from this wonderful cottage. Cobble Stones is a perfect choice for families and friends wishing to uncover this beautiful area.

2nd comment: We just want to say that the place itself was a lot larger than the photo’s shown. The owners were helpful, thoughtful and they made our holiday so much more enjoyable. Thanks. Feb 2012.
3rd comment: The accommodation was lovely, in a great location and though a little isolated it was expected. A few helpful recommendations: 1. A bath mat - we did have some one disabled with our party and they nearly slipped in the bath. 2. We had a power cut and it would have been helpful to have a torch or candles handy. 3. A folder of the surrounding area with recommendations for eating out, shopping, massages and activities etc, (though we found leaflets in the coffee table) a visitors book is always a nice touch for feedback. 4.The water is brown - it would have been helpful to have know this with a little note, we were unsure if this was drinking water and brought bottled water. Other than these small items we enjoyed our stay very much and had fun exploring Scotland. Though be prepared for a lot of driving. The only reason we would not visit again is only because we like to explore different places every year. But if we were to go back we would certainly think about booking this cottage again. May 2011.
