Customer Reviews of Mrs Rowan's Cottage, nr Kilmartin - Sleeps 2-4
nd comment: Mrs Rowan’s cottage is situated in an estate of 3 other let properties but placed so that you feel as though you are alone on the mountain. It is a working estate with sheep, chickens and a goat, what I would call superb. This was our 15th visit and we will be there again in October. Enjoy. April 2012.
rd comment: Worth a visit to Tayvallich and Crinnan canal. So peaceful even with the menargie of animals close by which included sheep, chickens, ducks, a goat, horses and three lovely border collies! Phil very helpful and chatty. No charge for our two dogs. A very nice and peaceful part of the world with lovely scenery. March 2012.
th comment: Rowan cottage is ideal for two people but there is a bed settee in the lounge. The cottage is warm and inviting, there is a log fire if you want one with logs etc to hand. We have been 15 times now and love it. There is a landline phone as mobiles do not work, with a trusting box for you to put money in and Phil is always to hand if you need help. Sept 2011.
th comment: If you want tranquility and peace this is the place for you. The caretaker is very friendly and helpful. We would most certainly return. May 2011.
th comment: Mrs Rowan’s cottage is ideal for a couple on their own. It is home from home, everything you will need including a land line phone as mobiles dont work, you are simply asked to put money in a box if you use it. All mod cons plus a log fire if you want one. I have just made my 13th visit to the cottage, it is ideal for walks, the mountains and lochs. March 2011.
th comment: Quiet, secluded, pretty. Dec 2010.
th comment: The cottage is set on a mountainside away from the road, ideal for people with dogs. The estate manager is on hand should you need anything and the accommodation has a phone which is brilliant as mobiles do not work in this area. Excellent cottage, this is my 12th visit. Booked twice for next year as well. Sept 2010.
