Customer Reviews of The Farm House, nr Kilmartin - Sleeps 8
st comment: Second visit to The Farmhouse. Ideal for the lads annual fishing trip as the fittings and amenities etc are comfortable and lived-in rather than too Laura Ashley or IKEA. Phil - the caretaker - is a top geezer, very helpful and friendly. Had a great trip, thanks again. June 2012.
nd comment: The Farm is a good location for an outdoor holiday, and served us well. Dec 2011.
rd comment: the farmhouse though out in the country near facilities. No signal for mobiles but house phone with honesty box which was an added bonu. We had a lovely holiday although the weather was terrible but plenty of room for 5 adults 1 baby and dog. Sept 2011.
th comment: We had a great holiday. Beautiful, peaceful area with lovely scenery. Seeing an otter, red squirrel and ospreys added to our enjoyment as did the rope swing in the wood. July 2011.
th comment: Lovely area, watching the ospreys was great. Phil the caretaker was very helpful. May 2011.
th comment: The property suited us down to the ground - we felt that the dogs were welcome in the house downstairs because it wasn’t too beautifully furnished. The wide mix of bedrooms was just right and the enclosed nature of the estate meant that the kids could roam unsupervised. It was useful having three toilets. April 2011.
th comment: Good sized rooms, beautiful surroundings in a quiet and tranquil location and great value for money. Oct 2010.
th comment: Good central location. Sept 2010.
th comment: We consider ’ Farmhouse’ property excellent value for money, Phil Hemings, the estate manager is only too willing to help with any problems and have a friendly chat. June 2010.
th comment: Clean, comfortable and homely without being too smart and formal. Ideal if you are taking dogs (or children)! Although the house can sleep up to 8 I don’t think the living room is really big enough for that many unless there are small children in the party. The garden is a good size and the area around the house is wonderful for exploring and looking for wildlife. Very quiet and peaceful. May 2010.
