We all normally say we can’t wait to get home to our own bed, we wish we’d took the bed home with us. The owner met us and explained everything to us and gave us a guided tour of Meikledale lodge, and it was beautiful a jewel in the crown of Scotland. A car is a must. June 2011.

20th Comment We liked the fact that the Lodge had everything including a needle and thread. It was comfortable and very clean. The placement of the Lodge couldn’t have been better, it was quiet but not far away from the nearest town. The kitchen is fantastic and it was nice to go somewhere that had an oven that was just like home. The whole place was excellent and even though it rained it didn’t stop us from having a fantastic time. July 2009.
