This vibrant city offers theatres, shopping, galleries, museums, clubs and pubs which can all be enjoyed very easily from this location either by car, taxi or on the very good bus service. Visit the world famous Edinburgh Festival and Fringe in August each year, or join in the spectacular New Year celebrations. East Lothian’s beaches, over 50 golf courses and the hills of the Lammermuirs are also within easy reach, or cross the Forth to visit the quaint fishing villages of Fife, try a round at St Andrews or explore the hills and glens of Perthshire. 1st comment: Spacious, well equipped flat, close to Holyrood Park, but not ideal for those requiring instant access to city centre. Overall excellent value for money would stay again. April 2012.
