Bainloch Lodge, sandy hills, sleeps 8

1st comment: Great location for wildlife enthusiasts (badger outside our lodge nearly every night) and great location for cyclists. On site pub great food. No on site shop but village shop 2miles away. Beach a few mins walk and very clean. Aug 2011.

2nd comment: Well maintained and clean. Had a small problem one night which required me to contact the owner who sorted it out for us at the earliest opportunity the following day. Excellent location if you have a dog, lots of walks available. Oct 2010.

4th comment: The lodge was in a great location. Very good for walks and mountain bikes, a small swimming pool and good sauna. We used the kitchen all week to cook our meals, which we found very nice. A relaxing holiday, and would re-visit the area and this lodge again. Oct 2010.

5th comment: The space was great with having 2 large dogs and 3 bigger kids; we still had space to get away from them all inside the lodge - was really roomy. Aug 2010.

7th comment: The lodge was spotless and was big enough for our party of 4 adults and 4 kids. All mod cons included - washing m/c, microwave, sky tv, etc. Very well equipped kitchen and great shower. June 2010.

8th comment: The property was homely and nicely presented. The kitchen had all the pots, pans and utensils we needed to comfortably feed the 8 guests in our party. There was a large fridge freezer so we would advise you to take some shopping with you. Beach only 4 minutes walking distance from the lodge. May 2010.

16th Comment The lodge is lovely and presented well. The restaurant was beautiful and very reasonable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only drawback was mobile phone connection over the whole weekend, our network coverage was not there at all. March 2009.
