Situated at the residential end of the high street, this original terraced holiday cottage, with large enclosed gardens, enjoys all the convenience of a town centre location whilst remaining within easy walking and driving distance of the beautiful Galloway countryside and Colvend coastline.
The surrounding area has an abundance of beautiful beaches, forests, gardens, visitor centres and many places of interest.
Dalbeattie is ideally located to afford opportunities for walking, cycling, golfing, fishing, birdwatching and watersports.
Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant 0.5 miles.

8th comment: Very nicely laid out cottage - lovely bedrooms but the sitting room is a little small. Wonderful garden with slide and swing for kids. However, there was no lock on the garden gate leading onto the main road. Far from ideal! 10 minutes drive to the lovely beach of Sandyhills and within touching distance of numerous child-centred options. July 2009.

11th Comment Perfect location for children, lots to do locally, great beaches and walks. good wildlife on estuary. Lots of places to eat. Rockcliffe, Kippford and Dalbeattie forest were favourites. Dalbeattie also has all you need. Cottage has everything and garden especially wonderful for children and BBQ’s. It’s very clean, so glad there’s been no dogs. Sept 2007.
