The Neoclassical building houses some of the greatest collections of European History from paintings and drawings to prints of the 19th century.
The Royal Scottish Academy in the foreground of the gallery was reopened in August 2003. It is in fact Scotland's greatest collection of European paintings and also one of the top free visitor attractions in Scotland. You can witness the world famous works of Raphael, Vermeer, Titian, El Greco and a whole set of other masterpieces once you are here.
