Sitting on the edge of the National Park, this linked farmhouse enjoys panoramic views. Part of a 500-acre working farm with beef cattle, free range poultry and ponies. Just off the Aberfoyle to Stirling road, ideal for exploring the Trossachs, Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument. Callander, 7 miles. Blair Drummond Safari Park, 5 miles. Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth are all less than an hours drive away, and make for excellent days out with a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Locally the village of Thornhill, 1½ miles has a general store/newsagents and postal service. There is also a pub serving good food.

1st comment: Spacious bedrooms, with good clean linen through out. Helpful owner at easy reach but not intrusive. Plenty of fuel (logs and coal available). It is a working farm with livestock at adjacent field and usual smells. Dec 2010.
2nd comment: Good family sized property, child friendly, owner farmer wullie was welcoming and helpful, the children thought he was great and he was only eclispsed in the hero stakes in their eyes by the footballing cattle dog nell.the farm is centraly located and we were spoilt for choice for the many regional attractions. House was pleasant, clean and comfortable. Family all in agreement they would be up for a return visit. Aug 2010.
