Set in the heart of Fort Augustus and looking out over the locks of the Caledonian Canal, these beautifully presented holiday apartments make the perfect base for enjoying the village amenities and also for exploring this lovely part of the Highlands. You can sit in the comfort of your living room and watch boats travel through the canal. This pretty village is situated at the southern end of Loch Ness and is close to the Great Glen Way. Lots to see and do for all ages – monster spotting on Loch Ness, boat trips, mountain biking, canoeing, hill walking to name but a few. Take a trip to Fort William, the ’Outdoor Capital of the UK’, or Inverness, the vibrant Highland Capital. A trip to the beautiful Isle of Skye with the dramatic scenery of the west coast should not be missed. Or just relax and watch the ever changing views over the village. Restaurant 40 yards, shop and pub 20 yards.

1st comment: Despite the wintry weather, we still enjoyed our holiday, returning each day to comfortable, cosy accommodation with great views overlooking the 5 locks on the Caledonian Canal. The well equipped kitchen and king size master bed were added bonuses. Fort Augustus made a smashing base within easy reach by car of many superb tourist sights as well as being central for walkers and cyclists of all abilities. March 2012.

3rd comment: The flat was warm and cosy and well fitted out. The bed was comfortable. Did not get the promised free logs for the stove, although we did not need to light it. Oct 2011.
4th comment: Excellent property and Fort Agustus is a lovely place. Would recommend the speed boat trip on Loch Ness. Over all a brilliant property and gorgeous setting. The property is also dog friendly. Aug 2011.
5th comment: For a good relaxing holiday this is the place! Everything is provided with the accommodation which is clean and comfortable. For those content to wander and ramble there is plenty to occupy you in Fort Augustus. In June the days stretch into the night with the views of Loch Ness as the sun goes down being awesome.
