This delightful, peaceful, detached holiday cottage is just yards from the River Doe. Lovingly restored, it lies in the heart of Glenmoriston on a large hill farm (with three munros) in acres of land. There is free trout fishing, a variety of wildlife, and tracks for leisurely walks and biking. Take a boat trip on Loch Ness, or watch the activity on the Caledonian Canal in picturesque Fort Augustus. Superb base for touring the Isle of Skye, Fort William and Inverness. Shop 15 miles, pub 10 miles.

2nd comment: A large immaculate cottage with friendly owners. On its own little private estate with a waterfall just outside the front door. Great location away from it all. Nearest shop and restaurant approx 15 miles away. Sept 2011.

It is set in a superb location and provided an ideal base for our mountain biking in the surrounding areas. Thank you for letting us store our bicycles safely!
