Customer Reviews of The Bakehouse,Birnam, sleeps 4
1st comment: The bake house is fantastic, very charming cottage. I would definitely go back without looking somewhere else in this area. The hermitage and braan walk is a very nice and easy walk, very close to the cottage. March 2012.
2nd comment: This was a wonderful week with good local pub grub. The accommodation was excellant but the info in the folder was not quite up to date, the people listed to get wood from could not be contacted and we had to find fuel elsewhere. There is a leaflet available that gives a map of the walks this would also be very helpful. People were friendly and helpful and we were reluctant to go home. Dec 2011.
3rd comment: Overall very good. In October though it can get quite cold so if you’re not confident using the furnace fire for heat (which we weren’t!) then an additional electric heater might be a good idea! Excellent location, easy driving distance to many good tourist sites and golf courses. Oct 2011.
