At the head of Glen Fruin, in Scotland’s first National Park, this welcoming beamed holiday cottage stands in an acre of natural gardens, just ten minutes from the shores of Loch Lomond. It stands near the owners’ 16th-century farmhouse with excellent walking and cycling, 18-hole golf, Balloch Castle and Hill House all nearby. The coast at Helensburgh is 6 miles, and Glasgow is only 30 miles. Shops 2 miles.
Two steps to entrance/sun room. Living room with wood-burning stove and French doors leading to small conservatory. Well-equipped, modern fitted kitchen with range cooker, dining area and door to garden. Double bedroom. Bathroom with shower cubicle. First floor: Open gallery landing overlooking kitchen/dining area. Two double bedrooms both with 6ft beds (zip and link, can be twin), and wash basins, original beams and additional single beds on request (for +2). Shower room with toilet.
