Railway Signal Box in Newtonmore - Sleeps 2
The Signal Box which was actually newly built in 2004 in the form of a signal box, is absolutely adjacent to the station in the Highland village of Newtonmore. Despite its proximity to the line (which is not busy) customers love the ambience of the place and all the little touches!
The accommodation is upside down, with a spacious, open plan living area on the first floor to make the most of the panoramic views towards the River Spey and Cairngorm Mountains, while the ground floor is a double bedroom and bathroom with sauna.
Configuration
One ground floor double bedroom. Ground floor shower room with shower cubicle, basin, WC and sauna. Utility room. Internal stairs to spacious first floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner and sofa bed. Balcony from sitting area.

This was our second time staying at the Signal Box. The whole place was spotless, with clear instructions for all appliances, there was nothing to fault at all. My husband enjoyed the sauna a few times. An excellent property which was well placed to explore the Cairngorms.
