This lovely apartment set over two floors enjoys a central location within the historic town of Dornoch and is furnished and equipped to a good standard to ensure as comfortable a holiday as possible. The town is located between the Dornoch Firth, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and Loch Fleet Nature Reserve where bird lovers from around the world congregate. There are so many things to see and do in this area, you will be spoilt for choice. Take a stroll along the nearby sandy beach, play golf at the nearby Royal Dornoch Golf Club said to be rated 9th in the world, visit the beautiful 11th century Dornoch Cathedral and the Old Jail, all within easy walking distance. Amongst the many activities available are mountain biking in the many forest trails, walking through Skelbo Woods with its sculpture trail or exploring some of the many unspoilt beaches. Shops 50 yards, pubs and restaurant 30 yards.

1st comment: Beautiful house ideally situated for exploring Dornoch and surrounding areas. Very modern, comfortable and clean, with a lovely view over the square the cathedral and everything we could want in a holiday home. June 2012.
2nd comment: We loved Over the Square. It was an ideal location to base out of for playing several golf courses on the Dornoch Firth. What a beautiful area of the world and the Scots we encountered throughout our trip could not have been friendlier. The flat was nicely appointed with modern kitchen and furniture. Sept 2011.
3rd comment: I am originally from the area and felt very ’at home’. Over the Square was an excellent base and exceeded our expectations for a holiday let. Felt I should have left the property more as we found it but the vacuum didn’t seem to be working . A great holiday in a lovely property and location. July 2011.
4th comment: Being split over the first and second floor of the building the apartment has a great view over the main square in Dornoch but would definitely not be suitable for anyone who has difficulty with stairs. It is however - highly recommended. June 2011.
