Customer Reviews of Mountain View, Spean Bridge, sleeps 6
st comment: We had a fantastic week, early April, with a bit of everything weather wise. It snowed 3 evenings in a row but melted each day so we were not hindered at all, and it was lovely to see the snow on the mountains. If you fancy fish and chips, avoid the chippy at Spean Bridge, call at Fort William instead, much nicer and better value! March 2012.
nd comment: Lovely little cottage perfect for Fort William, little too far for skiing in Cairngorms (although we did as Nevis had no snow). Nice walk up to a little church on the hill, just beware of the sheep. Sheep were an interesting sideline for our 4 little darlings especially when they jumped the fence and bleated at the windows. April 2011.
rd comment: Location , homely and comfortable. Also little touches like a welcome whisky, sewing kit, games, cds and dvds were very thoughtful. July 2009.
th comment: Lovely cosy cottage with beautifull views. Aug 2009.
th comment: The cottage was situated away from the road and from other properties. The kids could make as much noise as they wanted and the adults got plenty of peace and quiet in the evenings. The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils. Bedding was comfortable and extra blankets provided if needed. There was a folder with lots of ideas of things to do and a very nice welcome drink awaited us. Aug 2009.
th comment: Fantastic views. Very cosy, comfortable cottage. Excellent area to explore and superb for walking. March 2008.
th comment: This is the ideal place for a true family holiday. Aug 2008.
th comment: A most peaceful and relaxing holiday in the majesty of the highlands. Our stay at Mountain View was a tonic for the soul. Good value for money and a high standard of accommodation. The owners were also very helpful and provided a warm welcome. Sept 2007.
th comment: Real fire was very easy to use as owners provided kindling and wood was all included cut and ready in shed. There were plenty of cups/plates/etc so we didn’t have to wash up every 5 mins. The "secret" valley was a safe and wonderful place for the children to explore. The views were marvelous. Good pub food in Roy Bridge 5 mins drive. I could go on...Oct 2007.
