This charming terraced holiday cottage, set in large mature gardens, is in the quiet hamlet of Lennel and 0.75 miles from Coldstream and the English border.
Spacious and well equipped with a large breakfast kitchen, Minnow makes an ideal base from which to explore Southern Scotland and the sandy beaches of the Northumberland coastline.
Coldstream benefits from an excellent 18-hole golf course and there are many others within easy driving distance. There is a choice of pubs to eat in, as well as cafés in the local area. Coldstream sits on the River Tweed, which is famous for its salmon fishing.

5th comment: Lovely cottage was excellent for our needs, ground floor bedroom and loo for my Mum who struggles with stairs, massive secure garden for my grand-daughter and 3 dogs to play in. Cosy log fire for the evenings, when everyone is exhausted after long country walks. Lots of leaflets for ideas of where to go and plenty of books, games and jigsaws if the weather is not too good. The owner was wonderful - met us at the property gave us a guided tour and the dogs - provided water for the dogs and a welcome drink for us. We were made to feel like family not holiday makers.
