With views over Luce Bay to the Mull of Galloway, these spacious semi-detached holiday cottages (refs 27144 and 27145), renovated to a very good standard, maintain many of the original features. Situated in Port William, the houses have direct access from the garden to the beach. Fine sandy beaches can be found at Second Sands and to the south of Monreith. Rock pools on the beach are a haven for children searching for all types of sea creatures. On adjacent land otters and badgers are no strangers. Minke whales, turtles, porpoise, seals and dolphins have been seen in the Bay. The Bay is home to a large number of seabirds. Explore the Galloway Hills with their hidden lochs, burns and waterfalls or the Solway coastline. The distillery at Bladnoch offers a large shop and tours, or explore Wigtown. Cycling, horse riding, golf, sailing and diving available in the area. NB: Cottages can be linked to sleep up to 11 guests. Shop and pub 55 yards, restaurant in village.
