It has a lovely peaceful garden with a suntrap patio and panoramic views over working farmland to the surrounding mountains and forests. Completely modernised and renovated, the wing retains much of the original character and atmosphere with the original log fire providing a lovely focal point.
On the edge of the Cairngorms National Park and adjacent to the River Spey, this is an area of outstanding natural beauty with a huge hoice of activities available including walking, climbing, cycling, riding, golf, angling, winter sports and water sports. Nethy Bridge is 2 miles, Grantown-on-Spey 3 miles and Aviemore and Inverness are a short drive. The surrounding area has a wealth of wildlife and for ornithologists there are RSPB reserves nearby. Within easy reach are the Highland Wildlife Park, the unique outdoor Highland Folk Museum, the Speyside Whisky Trail, the Cairngorm Mountain funicular railway and a lovely old steam railway.
