rd comment: The cottage was warm and comfortable with lovely fresh flowers and a welcome pack. A lovely place to relax and enjoy the lovely and peaceful surroundings. July 2011.
th comment: This Cottage was excellent in every way - with personal touches which were much appreciated. The owners were very welcoming and had lots of literature in the cottage for all tastes and we found these most useful. The enclosed garden was perfect for our Border Terrier. This was our first hoiday in the Borders, but we would certainly recommend the area and definitely hope to go back to Girnick Cottage. It is well situated for both country walks, visiting some beautiful Houses and Gardens, and our ride over lovely moors to North Berwick only took us 1 hour. Perfect cottage for a week’s holiday, or even a short break. July 2011.
th comment: Excellent location. So many country houses, gardens and historical places of interest within a twenty mile radius. Cottage very private and peaceful without being remote. Accommodation very clean and comfortable without being ’fussy’. May 2011.
th comment: The property is well out of town, just off the road on a track. Itis comfortable and very private with a lovely garden, I saw a rabbit in the garden a couple of mornings. It is well enclosed for children or dogs. There was pots of hot water and plenty of heating to keep warm if needed. No mobile phone reception but I view that as a good thing! April 2011.
th comment: Very cosy and well presented. The kitchen was well stocked woth crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. Particularly enjoyed the coal fire in the lounge. Nov 2010.
th comment: Secluded and cosy with all mod cons needed for a relaxing holiday. Nov 2010.
th comment: By far the best cottage we have stayed in. Everything we could possibly need was provided. The welcome package, fresh flowers and starter bucket of coal were all very thoughtful and most welcome touches. Oct 2010.
th comment: Quiet location surrounded by farmland, but close to quiet road. April 2010.
