Ideal location to explore the area
This detached holiday bungalow is set in its own grounds with views over Loch Goil in the Argyll Forest Park. The sea loch is surrounded by mountains, woodlands and streams, has an abundance of water sports available and there are marked lochside and forest walks from the door. Sea angling in the loch and river fishing by permit.
Explore the area close by around Loch Fyne with its famous Oyster Bar and visit Inveraray with its picturesque castle and historic dungeon. Visit Dunoon, the capital of this area which hosts the Highland Gathering in late summer, the largest of its kind in the world.
Within only a 14 mile drive you can explore the west side of Loch Lomond, visiting the historic hamlet of Luss, or take a Loch Cruise around or out to one of the islands. Loch Lomond shores, 20 miles, has excellent shopping, restaurants and water sports. An indoor pool and leisure facilities, along with a 9 hole golf course at Drimsynie, are only 1 mile from the cottage. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile.
Steps to entrance. All on ground floor: Living room with patio doors/dining room. Kitchen. Utility room. 4 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite shower room and toilet, leading to 1 single, 1 twin, 1 single. Bathroom with toilet. Additional folding single available on request.
Multi-fuel stove in living room (initial fuel inc). NSH, panel heaters, elec, bed linen and towels inc. Cot and h/chair on request. DVD. Stereo/CD. M/wave. W/machine. T/dryer. D/washer. F/freezer. Payphone. Large, enclosed garden with patio and seats. Parking (2 cars). Dogs welcome under strict control please (livestock). No smoking. Visit Scotland 4 Star.

1st comment: Excellent location, overlooking the Loch. Beautiful large enclosed garden. Wildlife, walks, pubs and shop within a mile. The younger people in our party made use of the Leisure centre (gym, swimming pool and indoor children’s play area at the local hotel). We have had holidays with your company for a number of years and this is the best cottage we have stayed in. June 2011.

3rd comment: This property is in a quiet spot but within sight of the village on the opposite side of the loch with a general store open from 8am-8pm 7days a week, which is located in the caravan camp site. The views and bird life are fantastic, a better spot cannot surely exist. Aug 2010.

6th comment: The cottage is situated in a picture postcard setting on a slight hill overlooking Lochgoil. If you love peace and quiet then this the cottage is for you. The only problem we found was that we never wanted to leave! May 2010.
