Customer Reviews of Dhuallow, Aberarder, sleeps 8
st comment: Aga for cooking was fantastic and kitchen was always warm. Wonderful location, with a hill right behind to climb and plenty of pine forests with trails nearby. For the size of the house (4 double bedrooms) the TV was small; there was no DVD or CD player and the TV was not actually working, so things looked a bit quiet for New Year’s Eve. However the caretaker of the property (close by) was extremely helpful in lending us a DVD player so we could watch films we had brought and tried to get the telly fixed during our stay, but unfortunately the weather may have moved the satellite dish on the roof and it was not fixable during our week. However we managed fine with just a transistor radio, Good sized rooms, cosy lounge and great fire place, appreciated the stack of wood. Dec 2011.
nd comment: Found the house to be excellent in both space outside and inside. Oct 2011.
rd comment: Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. 8 mile drive to the A9 every day but a very pleasant drive. Sept 2011.
th comment: Very quiet, great for watching wildlife i.e. birds of prey, deer and stoats. Dogs can play without any fear of traffic. July 2011.
th comment: Very spacious, light and airy. Well decorated. A very relaxing location. June 2011.
th comment: We have been taking cottage holidays for the past 30 years and this is the best location by far. It was our 4th time to this particular property, and 7th time to the area, as the owner has another property close by that we have stayed in 3 times. The location is perfect for a get-away-from-it-all holiday. April 2011.
th comment: If you want a "get away for it all" then this is the place for you. There were some really nice touches in the house and we as a family will return. There is no mobile phone signals here. The vies are stunning. The caretaker is lovely. This place is a haven from the bustle of modern life. Plenty to do and there is fly-fishing nearby. And a visit to Dores is a must. Every one we met was friendly. April 2011.
th comment: Clean and tidy, helpful caretaker. Oct 2010.
th comment: Very comfortable with lots of space for all of us. The garden was wonderful and the kids were able to play in complete safety. Aug 2010.
th comment: Well equipped, spacious, excellent garden, wonderful views. April 2010.
