Charming 19th century canal side cottage on the edge of Inverness city and Clachnaharry village with stunning views. Views also include the Black Isle and Beauly Firth.
Situated on the edge of the city of Inverness on the main road to Beauly, this 19th century former British Waterways cottage overlooks some stunning scenery yet is within walking distance of the city centre (25min) and 5 min. drive to Inverness centre or the rural Highlands. Nearby there are shops and a local pub.
The property has a car park opposite for ample parking. There is also a jetty for kayak entry into the Caledonian canal and plenty of paths for cycling and walking. Storage facilities for equipment is by prior arrangement.
The house has an wood burning stove in the living room and central heating throughout as well as underfloor heating in the kitchen/diner. There are new modern kitchen facilities including washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer.
There are two toilets; one downstairs with an electric shower and one upstairs with bath and over bath shower.
There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, two are doubles and one is a twin. All bedding and towels are provided.
The house is suitable for family groups although close to a road and the canal. There are many activities in the area in the city or surrounding countryside. The nearby family friendly pub has great food.
Pets allowed downstairs only. 2-3 small to medium dogs maximum.
