Customer Reviews of Craigallion Cottage, Kilcreggan - Sleeps 5
st comment: Superb cosy cottage in an idyllic location by the sea. Convenient for highlands touring. Large festive food hamper on arrival was most welcome. Owner and housekeeper very helpful with regards to advising on tourist sites with lots of brochures available at the cottage for reference. Would have no hesitation in recommending this charming cottage to all. Dec 2011.
nd comment: Lovely cottage, loved the coal fire. Owner is very nice and left a welcome basket of bread, jam etc. Location was gorgeous, right next to the beach. Only downside was that there wasn’t much room for parking at the cottage especially if you have a big car. Oct 2011.
rd comment: The cottage is quaint, cosy, very nicely furnished and decorated and the beds are comfortable. There is a lovely view across the water. The owner very kindly met us and left us a welcome basket of food, useful when the nearest large supermarket is around 45 mins away (stock up on your journey there if you can - otherwise there is a small local shop). We enjoyed driving along the loch and mountain roads to Arrochar, Inverary and up to Oban and saw the lovely view of Castle Stalker at Appin. Do not miss Loch Lomond - amazingly beautiful in the sunshine;we recommend walking along the quiet eastern side of the loch from Balmaha, with its marina and boat trips to an island, but we also found the tourist shopping centre and aquarium on the western side interesting. We travelled to see museums in Glasgow on a wet day and had no problem with traffic - if you avoid the rush hours and the city centre. Sept 2011.
th comment: We loved the cottage. Lots of lovely thoughtful touches. Delightful views, and fabulous village. July 2011.

th comment: The cottage was in a lovely location on the seashore. It was beautifully and thoughtfully furnished and finished, with a fresh flowers in several rooms, board games, books and DVD’s to borrow, and a welcome basket on arrival including milk, bread, cereal, biscuits. Lots of information on the local area, maps and leaflets were also in the cottage which were really useful. Overall it was just perfect. April 2011.
