Adjoining the owner’s home, the property has been tastefully furnished and has mature sunken gardens with pond and lawns to the rear. This Victorian town has many local amenities. Enjoy watersports on Loch Lomond, golf, walking, cycling, horse riding and fishing locally. Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling all within easy reach. Shop and pub 1/2 mile.

1st comment: Wonderful location by the Clyde. Delightful garden and outdoor seating. Ideal to visit the Lochs and Glasgow with the South of the river easily accessible over the Erskine bridge. Local restaurant the Commodore a good place to eat and the town itself has Cooperative Supermarket, Boots, Banks etc. The new Transport museum in Glasgow well worth a visit with parking £1 for 3 hours and nearby Dumbarton castle a must to visit. July 2011. 2nd comment: Stayed here for a week at the beginning of July 2011. Excellent location, would recommend for any one wanting a quiet break. Great Railway network for visiting Glasgow and Edinburgh. Drove up from Somerset. July 2011. 3rd comment: We were extremely pleased with the cottage - the photos did not do it justice we thought it was wonderful. May 2011. 4th comment: Very clean. Had everything I needed. Lots of nice touches like washing up liquid, gloves etc. Felt very safe. The owner was on hand if needed, but not intrusive. Great location with stunning views, yet two minutes away from town.
