Customer Reviews of Pinewood Cottage, nr Selkirk - Sleeps 6
st comment: Cottage warm, clean and comfortable. Double glazing excellent - hardly heard the gales and rain we had. Enjoyed having the peacocks for company. Weather restricted us so weren’t able to explore the area around the farm or do much walking. Sept 2011.
nd comment: When we arrived at the cottage everything was in place ready for us: key in door, beds were made, heating was on. The cottage is on a working farm the owners were getting ready for lambing but there still had lots of time to give you very good and helpful information on the area on were to go and what to do depending on your interests so all in all it was a very good holiday. March 2011.
rd comment: This property was very clean and comfortable and had a very nice kitchen with a good hob and oven. Feb 2011.
th comment: Beautiful location, friendly hosts, well equipped, good pub nearby. Aug 2010.
th comment: Ideal location for exploring the Scottish borders. The owner was on hand to resolve any problems, help with where to explore (especially if cakes were involved) and just generally a wonderful friendly bubbly person who nothing was too much trouble for. On a working sheep farm this was well maintained and did not en-crouch on the holiday, but added to it. Peacocks, chickens added to the feeling of ’away from it all.’ Added benefit of Wifi in the property. 10/10, excellent, brilliant, words can not describe. Anyone wanting that get away, holiday, breakl; this is the place, while still being within easy reach on a number of places Edinburgh, Holy Island, Selkirk. June 2010.
