Customer Reviews of Rob Roy, Whitmuir Hall nr Selkirk - Sleeps 4
st comment: Well kept and in a lovely setting. A good base for exploring the borders ! Aug 2010.
nd comment: We were moved apartment so were actually in Traquair. The apartment was great but it was very cold so we had to use the heating quite a lot which cost us a lot in electricity. It would have been much better if the electric was included in the price as you don’t want to think about bills when you are on holiday. Oct 2009.
rd comment: Good location, excellent staff ideal base for touring.Quiet, with good on site amenities, very helpful and welcoming staff. Good base for touring. July 2009.
th comment: The location and grounds were excellent. Our cottage was clean and tidy but a bit dated. July 2009.
th comment: I liked the fact that everything I wanted or needed was available and easily accessible and ready to use. July 2009.
th comment: Our children (age 8 and 11) loved the freedom of the grounds, and using the games room facilities. I’ve never played so much pool and table tennis! The pool was great too as it was never busy and felt like a private pool. April 2009.
th comment: Quiet setting, convenient location for Border country. March 2008.
th comment: Loved the laid-back nature of Whitmuir Hall. No one watching your every move and no extra charges for games room and 24hr pool, unlike other holiday lets. Hope it retains its mellow ambience, would definitely return. March 2007.
