A semi-detached cottage situated in historic and scenic Glenelg, 1 mile from the beach, Smithy Cottage, once the home of the village blacksmith, provides the ideal location for holidaymakers, naturalists, hill-walkers or those simply seeking a peaceful Highland retreat. The hamlet boasts all local facilities, as well as Pictish brochs and the picturesque ruins of General Wade’s 17th-century barracks. Excellent walking on Ben Sgritheall and mountains of Glen Shiel. Splendid scenic routes both on the mainland and unforgettable Skye. The ferry to the Isle of Skye is approximately 2 miles away and operates from Easter to late September. Village shop and pub ¾ mile.
