Riverfoot, Glenelg, sleeps 4
River / sea views
This is a spacious detached bungalow, well furnished and equipped its a real ’home from home’ amidst superb scenery.
The area is steeped in history, 2000 year old Brochs, Hanovarian Barracks, Eilean Donan Castle. A trip over the short ferry crossing to Skye taking the old drove road to the main part of the island and back via the new bridge and Hamish MacBeth country is well worth the effort.
Walking, bird spotting, climbing or simply absorbing the views are all popular pastimes. The river is also home to a colony of otters who can provide excellent entertainment.
