Beautifully located amidst the unspoiled beauty of the Assynt peninsula, this charming detached cottage is one of two holiday properties. Enjoying magnificent views over the green valley to the moors, this south-facing cottage is at the mid-point of the scenic single-track road which winds round the coast from Lochinver to Kylesku. It offers a modern, completely re-built interior within the original exterior and is well-appointed and comfortably furnished. There are open grounds surrounding the cottage with patio and garden furniture. The cottage is only 100 yards from SU302 - the properties can be booked together for larger family groups.
The surrounding area offers excellent outdoor activities including walking, climbing, fishing, diving and boat trips. At the Geopark Assynt there are nature reserves, bird colonies and a wealth of flora and fauna. There is a beautiful beach nearby and each turn of the road opens up an ever- changing vistas of sea, coast, mountains and moors. Local shop and pub 1 mile.
First floor : 1 double bedroom and 1 room with zip-link beds (please specify if double or twin required), cot available, bathroom with shower over bath. Ground floor: living room with multi-fuel stove, dining room, kitchen, utility /separate wc /drying room.
Cooking by gas hob/electric oven, gas central heating plus stove. Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, Freeview television, DVD, CD player. Bed linen and towels provided.
