Wonderful tidal beach of white sands on the west coast of Lewis near Mangersta. Arguably one of the best beaches of them all!
This is a wonderful white beach with tropical blues waters protected from the ocean. The sands stretch for miles at low tide and thre combination of sands, dunes and rock make this a true paradise.
As always getting to the beach requires transport and a bit of journey along narrow Lewis roads.
Beside the beach is another smaller and equally lovely protected beach called Carnish.
There is a restaurant/guesthouse beside the beach called Baile-na-Cille so you can stay right on the beach. (website)
