The Queen's Gallery was built in the shell of the former Holyrood Free Church and Duchess of Gordon’s School at the entrance to the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
The Queen's Gallery was unveiled by Her Majesty on the 29th of November 2002. The Gallery primarily entertains exhibitions from the Royal Collection with an added focus on the skillful artworks from the Royal Library at the famous Windsor Castle. Novel exhibits from the Royal collection are displayed every 6 months. These exhibits kept for public display from the Royal Collection mainly include ceramics, tapestries, art, etc. This magnificent piece of architecture by veteran architect Ben Tindall is also the abode of monarchist mementos.

By coach: Open-top tour buses stop nearby. Coach parking is provided free of charge.
