Sited towards the East End of the George Street, St Andrew's Square
is characterized by its square, public garden and the 41 foot tall soaring Roman column. Designed by James Craig, today, this part of Edinburgh New Town is among the most prestigious, fashionable and desirable residential area in the city.

The main shoppers stop at St Andrew's Square is Harvey Nichols which gives the place a new charm. On the eastern end of the street lies the Multrees Walk which has soon become the city's version of London's Bond Street which houses big brands and stores like Armani, Louis Vuitton and Mulberry stores.
