From its lochside setting in the pretty National Trust village of Plockton, this charming and comfortable listed cottage enjoys views of Plockton harbour and Duncraig Castle from the bedrooms. Positioned on Plockton’s old pier at the edge of Loch Carron and attached to the owner’s home, it is convenient for the village’s shops, inns and seafood restaurants. Loch Ness, Inverness, Gairloch and Ullapool, all within touring distance. Skye Bridge 6 miles. Fishing locally. Shops ¼ mile.
Entrance porch. Sitting/dining room with multi-fuel burner. Bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet. Well-equipped galley-style kitchen. First floor: Twin bedroom with en-suite toilet and wash basin. Double bedroom. Both bedrooms have large Velux windows with sea views.

4th comment: It was in the village, close to 3 good pubs and in a quiet spot. It’s furnished in quite a quaint old fashioned way. Very good wood burning stove. Would have been nice to have had a DVD player. April 2010.
5th comment: The location was almost unique in Plockton in being at the water’s edge. It was cosy for two of us, though it would have been rather cramped for the advertised number (4). Oct 2009.

7th comment: The cottage was in the perfect location for us. Plockton is a jewel in the crown as far as location goes. The owner of the cottage had added "little extras" which was very kind. Overall the cottage was perfect for us and we would definitely be booking again. Thank you. May 2009.
8th comment: The website did not give any internal photographs some internal photographs would help to sell the property. Plockton is a superb destination with a number of good restaurants and sufficient shops in the village and Kyle. There are a number of good walks and boat trips. The property is fine for two people but would be less so for 4. May 2009.
9th comment: The cottage was excellent with beautiful views across the bay. The village was small but it had everything we needed good restaurants and a great pub. April 2009.
10th comment: This was our second visit to this property. Plockton is a fabulous place to bring in the New Year and our accommodation was warm & welcoming during the spell of fantastic frosty weather we enjoyed! Dec 2008.
11th Comment We found the cottage to be delightful and just the perfect location for a mixture of relaxing and exploration of this lovely part of Scotland.
