Thistle'do Cottage, Loch Fyne - Sleeps 3+2
Situated in the village of Minard on the shores of Loch Fyne, this semi-detached holiday cottage enjoys picturesque views across the loch. Lovingly refurbished, it makes the ideal location to explore the mountains and lochs of Argyll and Bute. Oban (40 miles) is the gateway to the Isles of Mull, Iona, Tiree, Colonsay, Lismore and Islay. The Glen of Kilmartin beyond Lochgilphead (12 miles) offers an insight in to the ancient history of Scotland, whilst the Knapdale Forest offers walking. Shop 500 yards, pubs 4 miles.

5th comment: A beautiful cottage in a fantastic location right on Loch Fyne and within easy reach of main attractions in the area. Property is immaculate, well-equipped and has loads of outdoor space as well and the owners are very friendly. If you’re thinking of a holiday in the Argyll area, I can’t recommend Thistle Do enough. Auchindrain Township
Auchindrain is the remains of the only "joint-tenancy" farm village that survived from the 16th century until 1967 including surviving the Clearances of the early 19th century. Very insightful and interesting.
