This delightful detached little cottage is set in an enviable position just yards from the sea, and with breathtaking views towards the Lochalsh and the Skye Mountains. Set within the tiny hamlet known as Glaik on the edge of the Lochalsh Woodland Garden, it is just a short drive away from the enchanting Eilean Donan Castle. The Skye bridge is within 5 minutes drive, and picturesque Plockton (which was the location for Hamish MacBeth) is just 20 minutes away, with its beautiful bay and palm trees. There are many good pubs and restaurants within the area. Shops 1 mile.

11th Comment A very refreshing and enjoyable break combining a peaceful location with easy access to places of interest. Very comfortable accommodation, thoughtfully equipped in a lovely peaceful setting. It was a delight just to sit and look at the view of the loch as the colours changed through the day. Easy access to plenty of interesting places to visit and walk. We spotted otters (briefly) from the cottage shore too! July 2009.
