Taigh an Tobair Cottage, Colbost on Skye - Sleeps 5
Taigh an Tobair which literally means "House by the Well" in gaelic is a modern detached single story house in the pretty village of Colbost in the North West of Skye. The village faces across the Loch from Dunvegan and is about five miles drive. The Colbost Peninsula is further than most people get when they visit Skye which makes it a lovely more solitary experience. It is easy to explore the rest of Skye from here since you are close to cross roads that take you in lots of different directions.
The cottage sleeps five people over three bedrooms: one king-size double, one double and one single, as well as a family bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with sofas and a woodburning stove for relaxing after a long day's outdoors. If you don't fancy cooking, then you can walk to the famous Three Chimney's for dinner (expensive, but delicious).
Outside there is off road parking and a lawned garden with furniture with a small stream and seating area (see note re: children).
