Tucked away on the edge of the tiny village of Lilliesleaf, just 8 miles from Melrose and with an outlook over fields to the distant Cheviot hills, this charming detached holiday cottage is an ideal base from which to explore the Borders.
With a cosy woodburner and sunny enclosed rear garden it is ideal whatever the season. Lilliesleaf has two pubs serving food and a gallery café, while Melrose and Jedburgh each have a good array of independent shops and eating places.
Good cycling on quiet roads, hill walking, fishing, riding and golf all nearby.
Shops 6 miles, pub and restaurant 250 yards.
