A contemporary house with a first floor open living area with lovely views and a pretty, sheltered garden with seating to catch the sun whatever the time of day. Ideal as a base for touring, visiting ancient abbeys, historic houses and gardens, or for trips to Edinburgh, 1 hour. Quiet roads for cycling, good fishing, golf and hill walking nearby. Shop 6 miles, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Very quiet village but convenient for walking and lots to see and do in the surrounding area. The village pub served good food and there are several towns within a short distance, where food is available. We would definitely recommend both the cottage and the area. Sept 2011.
