In a beautifully tranquil and secluded position on a quiet lane at the entrance to a charming Victorian village lying along the banks of the River Tay, this substantial property offers an excellent holiday home. The house offers unusually spacious accommodation with bright rooms and tasteful decor. The safely enclosed mature wooded grounds have seating areas and vantage points overlooking the burn which runs along the other side of the fence and is home to a variety of birds and wildlife.
Within walking distance are a good village shop, pub, coffee shop, gallery and a friendly 9 hole golf course. The picturesque town of Aberfeldy (5 miles), offers further facilities and a 15 minute drive takes you to Pitlochry with its renowned Festival Theatre. The tumbling waters of the Tay provide excellent angling and the village water sports centre offers tuition and equipment for canoeing, kayaking and white water rafting. The choice of activities in Highland Perthshire is extensive with walking, climbing, mountain biking, off road driving, riding, trekking, sailing and mountain safaris all within a few miles.
