Customer Reviews of Stables Cottage, nr St Andrews - Sleeps 3
st comment: This is an excellent cottage for a holiday with your dog. It is peaceful with great walks. Fife is an excellent part of Scotland. The owners make you feel very welcome indeed. Our second visit will go back. April 2012.
nd comment: The cottage was fantastically equipped and the small touches were very welcome. The wine and homemade shortbread was such an unexpected luxury. Fresh flowers and a small bowl of fruit were also lovely touches. The bedding was excellent quality, as were the facilities... Great cooker, microwave, shower, bath, etc. And what a selection of books! We and our dogs loved it and can’t wait to return. Thank you. Nov 2011.
rd comment: The cottage was beautiful, cosy and comfy, we loved it. The dogs loved the garden and the walks around the area. A visit to St Andrews is well worth it. Fish supper from the famouse chippy in Anstruther is a must. We went to a few places for a visit, but mostly stayed in St Andrews and had a lovely day of rest in the cottage. Norma and Ian are a lovely couple and made us very welcome. On arrival they had left us a lovely bottle of wine and home-made shortbread, which Norma made herself and was yummy. Thanking You, we have a lovely time. Oct 2011.
th comment: Lovely cosy cottage in a wonderful location - ideal sanctuary to hide from a near hurricane! The owners, Ian and Norma, could not be more accommodating. Home made shortbread and a nice bottle of wine waiting for us on our arrival - Heaven! As this was our fifth stay in Stables Cottage (and my wife and I are a bit fussy!), one might say that we are smitten with this little bit of paradise. Sept 2011.
th comment: Excellent location of property. Perfect enclosed garden for dogs. Good walks direct from cottage without the use of the car, and even more walks short car drive away. June 2011.
